My name is Bela. I have been a preschool teacher for 13 years and still enjoy working with kids. I have been living in the Bay Area with my husband and two grown up children for 25 years. I have a foreign Bachelor's degree,
an Early childhood education degree from De- Anza college and a certificate in Graphic/web design from Mission college.
I am also licensed with the State of California and have a current CPR/First aid training. I regularly participate in Professional development classes and workshops to expand my knowledge and skill base.

"To create a love for lifelong learning in children, to teach them conceptually in a loving, caring and nurturing environment, enabling them to grow into a solid, well rounded individual in the future" I believe, creating a solid foundation is key to a child's developmental years. Each child is unique in their development. Providing them with a healthy, safe play environment and taking care of their social, emotional needs first will lay the foundation for a emotionally strong individual. Give them the tools to explore and space to express themselves, engaging their curious minds to learn and grow.

I offer a play based learning environment. Most of the learning happens through active playful exploration and experimentation, social physical activities, hands on science and art, outdoor play.
Reading: Children learn to develop a love for reading and will be reading fluently by Kindergarten.Reading is taught through step by step, fun interactive Phonics activities.
Music: Children learn lyrics to many songs and sing along with a Piano cd's, and musical instruments.
STEAM: Science, art activities are based on the children's interest and curiosity. What, why, how questions are discussed to come up with a materials list to create their ideas.

Parents are the first and foremost teachers of a child.
My goal is to continue being an extension of your child's family and cultural values and enhance their personalities with my teaching. As parents you are always welcome to stop by anytime, ask questions and be an active participant in your child's learning.
I will work hard to maintain a two-way communication between school and home.
Again my goal is to maintain a strong, trustworthy, respectful relationship between school and home, to achieve the best possible outcome for our children.
